A 6 year old girl came to OPD with multiple joints pain and edema, severe stiffness at all joints, severe pain and tenderness at knee joint, walking difficulty etc. diagnosed as a Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Generally these types of cases are very hard to tackle as we can’t give him/her high power medicines due to little age. With oral medicines Leech therapy was also performed. About 60% improvement was noted after 6 months treatment including Panchkarma.
